Plant protection-
products
PhytoSystem®BV distributes in Belgium and Luxembourg the plant protection products of all manufacturers and/or importers. These include Adama, BASF, Bayer, Belchim, Corteva, Certis, Eurofyto, FMC, Globachem, Gowan, Indofil, Kreglinger, Nufarm, Protex, Sharda, Syngenta and UPL. PhytoSystem®BV also markets a series of products under its own brand. Based on technical tests, (including our Resitech project), we look for the most efficient products, in order to offer the user (farmer or market gardener) the best products on the market. The Resitech program also analyses products that could be used in organic farming.
Fertilizers
PhytoSystem®BV distributes bulk fertilizers for agriculture and market gardening in Belgium and Luxembourg. In addition to this, we also offer very specific fertilizers, such as:
- MaisPower® and MaisPower® P free, fertilizers intended for maize cultivation, both on rich and low phosphorus soils.
- Various products based on humic and fulvic acids. Thanks to these, special attention is paid to the development and maintenance of healthy microbial life in the soil, the basis for a healthy, acceptable yield.
- A wide range of specialized foliar fertilizers, by which a solution is provided for each deficiency found.
Through the Resitech program, we carry out a large number of tests and trials every year, which make it possible to get the most out of this market.
Seeds
Phytosystem®BV distributes seeds from various seed manufacturers and/or importers in Belgium and Luxembourg. For this purpose we work with different companies, but also develop our own products. Around ten varieties of winter wheat are multiplied, treated and bagged at one of our members, Deva Fyto in Veurne. Each year, we monitor and test a minimum of 30 varieties in the Resitech programme. Using integrated pest management data, we accurately assess the disease resistance of different varieties. For the sale of maize seeds, we work with Mas Seeds, Limagrain, Jorion-Philip Seeds, Syngenta, Bayer, Pioneer, KWS, etc. We also have a complete range of grass seeds (both temporary and permanent) and a wide range of green manures. These are marketed under our own brand name "PRO STAR".
Miscellaneous
In addition to the product groups described above, PhytoSystem®BV also markets other products that are important to our customers:
- Agricultural plastics, netting for protection against birds and/or small game, etc.
- Ground sheeting, windbreak shade netting,...
- Biocides (e. g. disinfectants, pest control, fly control)
